shedding long underwear...

I've just come back from a week and a half Up North. The temperatures were in the shoe sizes range and the wind was pretty bitter, but I had the most wonderful time visiting with some of the people I adore most in the world. Lucky me!

I didn't even take a camera with me, so these are stock photos of some places we were--just imagine a couple of gorgeous girls all bundled up and grinning at the edge of every photo, eh? Oh, and beavertails?
I did read, but it will take me a few days to catch my breath before I can sit down and tell you all properly about the books.
